- Odisha:
- Sundergarh, Mayurbhanj, Jhar, Gurumahisani, Sulaipet, Badampahar, Bonai(Sundergarh) and Kiruburu (Kendujhar)
- Jharkhand:
- Noamundi in Poori and Gua in Pashchimi Singhbhum district.
- Chattisgarh:
- Bailadila, Dantewada and Durg
- Andhra Pradesh:
- Cuddapah and Anantapur district
- Telangana:
- Karimnagar and Warangal
- Tamil Nadu:
- Salem and Nilgiris districts
- Maharashtra:

- Karnataka:

- Karnataka is the largest iron ore producer state in India. Karnataka alone produces about 25% of iron ore in India.
